Beth Bombara Background Info
Beth Bombara is one of those rare musicians who can shift genres as effortlessly as she changes instruments. She is well known as the latter half of the folk duo Cassie Morgan and the Lonely Pine and as the singer/guitarist of the indie-rock group Beth Bombara and the Robotic Foundation. MarsBands Review
The incredibly talented Beth Bombara is a musician with such broad musical tastes, it’s a disservice to label her as any one genre. She elegantly combines Folk, Indie, and Rock (along with other genres) to create a sound that is unique and refreshing. In some ways, and especially while listening to the song Can’t Win, Beth Bombara makes me think of The Hudsons. There’s violin (or maybe fiddle), finger-picking guitar greatness, and snappy drums. Not to mention fantastic vocals.
Beth Bombara is another shining example of someone who not only is an amazingly talented singer, she is also a fantastic songwriter and instrumentalist. Sure, she can play guitar. But she can also play a plethora of other instruments that will not only impress you, but perhaps also astound you. Beth Bombara is what we in the “biz” like to call “the total package”. Her songs are real, passionate, and come from the heart.
Normally for me lyrics are secondary to the music. Often I tend to ignore the lyrics and focus on the music. But with Beth Bombara it’s nearly impossible to ignore the poetic genius that makes up her songs.
My favorite song is Can’t Win, but honestly all of her songs are fantastic. Just click the play button on the list below and enjoy the multi-amazing Beth Bombara!
